Aging and Memory: What's Normal and What's Not at Hal Welsh East Area Family Branch

Do you ever concern yourself when you cannot remember a fact or word that you have always known? Do you ever worry that the name of the famous person that you have always been able to recall, completely escapes you? This could just be part of the normal aging process as Kerri Green, Program Manager with the Alzheimer's Association of Central New York, will explain. Kerri is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to illuminating these issues. She has over 20 years of experience in non-profit, mental health and higher education and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Kerri is passionate about educating caregivers and the general public on Alzheimer's and other dementia as well as providing resources to professionals who work with older adults. Kerri enjoys building relationships with health care and social service providers to increase awareness of Alzheimer's Association services. Please register early as there is a participant limit.
