Dear YMCA Members,
We want to share an important update regarding the ongoing regional water issue impacting parts of Central New York. Local officials continue to urge conservation to help maintain water pressure and ensure continued service for the community.
Because the Hal Welsh East Area Family YMCA and Manlius YMCA are located within the impacted area, showers at these two branches will be temporarily unavailable beginning Saturday 12/27 as part of our effort to conserve water and support our neighbors in need.
What this means for members:
- Showers will not be available at Hal Welsh East and Manlius until further notice.
- Showers remain available to all members at our other Y branches.
- All other amenities and programs at Hal Welsh East and Manlius remain open and operating as scheduled.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will provide updates if the water issue requires additional operational changes. Thank you for your cooperation and for being part of a community that looks out for one another.
